Psalm 119:143-145

The Voice

¹⁴³ Trouble and distress have overtaken me,
    but Your commandments bring me great joy.
¹⁴⁴ Your decrees are right and true forever;
    grant me understanding so that I may live.

¹⁴⁵ I called to You wholeheartedly: “Answer me, O Eternal One!”
    I will respect, I will follow Your statutes.
